The Stratos Replica Club exists for enthusiasts of the Lancia Stratos, and the builders and owners of kit car replicas of it. There are presently about 100 club members - mostly based across the UK, plus a number who are based abroad.
Annual club membership runs from April through to the following March, and is available for a relatively small membership fee (£12).
You will be kept up-to-date with information by regular copies of the club newsletter (sent air-mail for our foreign members). The newsletter contains write-ups on members cars, technical features, For Sale/Wanted ads, event dates, and much more useful information.
Over 60 editions of the club newsletter have already been produced, and the club is currently converting all the back issues to electronic format so that new members can harness the wealth of knowledge gathered by its many members over the years. It is hoped that this will be available in CD format later this year.
From information in this newsletter, plus other flyers produced by the club, you will most likely meet up with other members either at kit car shows, social events, or simply through contacting people mentioned in write-ups. Members cars are often seen on stands at the various kit car shows in the UK, and, amongst the social events, the club sometimes organises a touring trip to Italy, home of the Stratos.
If you are building, or considering the purchase of, one of these kits, the wealth of information available through the club will be something you cannot do without. Catch up with club members at one of the many UK kit car shows, or maybe see the cars in action at some of the competitive events that feature this car.
The club has members with cars from both UK manufacturers, even one which is a hybrid of both. The choice of engines installed in the kits ranges from standard Beta Twin-Cams, through Beta Volumex (supercharged), 8V and 16V Thema Turbo, Honda/Rover V6, to Alfa V6 (which seems to be the preferred engine). Some have even gone as far as to install a Ferrari engine in an effort to provide as realistic replica as possible.
All this wealth of knowledge and expertise is available via membership of the club - an invaluable resource!!

Membership of the Stratos Enthusiasts Club runs from 1st Jauary each year until 31st December the following year, and costs £15.00 for one year's membership.
