This is Gary's first car - He also has a second Corse which is completed and currently awaiting painting.
The first Corse started out with a Lancia Twin-cam engine before being converted to Alfa V6 power. It has competed on numerous rallies, especially the Rallye Des Geantes in France where Gary is regularly invited to run as course car.
The car is also featured in the title sequence of some of the TV programs on the Granada TV channels.
As you can see from the pictures, Gary uses the car to the full when competing on his rallies.
But, then again, it hasn't always been plain sailing for Gary's rallying exploits!!
Gary is still rallying his car, and you can read a report of his exploits on the Fat Albert Stages Rally 2000. Gary drove the car excellently on this rally to finish 13th overall and 5th in class against some very stiff competition.
2001 was a very successful year of rallying for Gary, with several class awards on a variety of events, winner of the Burnham-on-Sea M C Stage Rally Championship, and victories on both the Sprint and Rally at the 2001 Stratos UK Motorsport Weekend.
