I need a new oil pressure sender unit for my 12v v6 alfa engine,does anybody know what size the thread is on it also the thread size on the low oil pressure sender.Is the pressure sender a standard Alfa part as it connects to a fiat gauge,thanks and a happy new year to everyone.

Can't help you with the thread sizes BUT the low oil pressure warning switch works the wrong way round to Fiat ones! It will turn the light on when there is pressure. The Fiat ones usually tun the light off once there is pressure - This can cause heart failure if the gauge sender is broken - the gauge says no pressure and the light is on! But if it the light goes out when you turn the engine off it means that you did have pressure and it's the gauge sender that's knackered! So, when you get a new low pressure switch make sure it's the type you need!

PS the pressure gauge sender is a standard Alfa 164 part and it will work with the Fiat gauge.
