CAE Corse Track Day Cars/Kits For sale 2004

Well maybe!!
It is early days but I have been talking to Hugh Carson owner of CAE (Carson Automotive Engineering) about starting production of the Corse again and supplying a trackday version, we are thinking of putting together a car that would be affordable around £20K and build it to take either a single or twin bike engine reving to 13K fantastic.

Anybody interested in buying either a kit or complete car should contact myself by email or call me on 07970389719

PS
This is the Corse that Hugh Carson built for myself fitted with 308GTB engine and full stainless steel chassis.

Chris

Plus stainless wishbones, nut, bolts, washers, floor pan the lot near bankrupt me. But what a car when finished and the chassis will never rust.
Here is a picture of the engine.

Chris we never put the car on scales but it was worth carrying the extra weight as it looked great and never rusted, I will scan some pictures I have of the car in build and you will see the quality craftsmanship that Hugh Carson does when building the Corse.

Cheers

Other than powerplant, how will this differ?

CAE stopped production around 18 months ago due to the exchange rate in Japan where most of the cars they built went.

The trackday car will have a lighter chassis and bodywork to allow the use of bike engines such as the Kawasaki ZX12R and Suzuki Hyabusa, these engines can be dry-sumped and fitted with turbochargers that can produce up to 350 bhp plus the benefit of a close ratio 6 speed sequential box.

We hope that production of the first trackday car will begin end of January. Will keep you posted when chassis is finished.
