Hawk 5 stud adaptors.
Before I go to the wheel bearing shop where everything appears to be driven by chassis numbers can anyone tell me the part numbers for :-
Fiat 132 front wheel bearings
Lancia Integrale rear wheel bearings or are they fronts just used on the rear ?
Now all you 5 stud boys can go out into the garage tonight and strip down your hub assemblies to find out for me !!......an answer by 9:00 am tomorrow will do just fine !.......
Cheers all

Hi,
This is not exactly what you're after, but I bought these parts from:-
John Whalley
5 Stort Valley Industrial Estate
Stansted Road
Bishop's Stortford
Hertfordshire
CM23 2TB
England
Telephone International: +44 1279 654181
Fax International: +44 1279 654424
Talk to "Charlie" in the parts department.
You need the Integrale Bearing that uses the circlip as retainer.
They were recommended by Gerry at Hawk.
They know the HAWK kit and the 5 stud conversion and whilst you may get the bits a few pounds cheaper elsewhere, you're guaranteed to get the right bits from here.

I use my local Partco dealer, all the parts you ask for are easily available and listed in their catalogues, usually you can get them at trade prices.
This goes for the discs also
You may have an equivelant to Partco locally

That depends on your hub carrier/upright assembly.
But the variations have been discussed here before, and Whalley's should know as well.
Besides the means of holding the bearing in place - screwed part or circlip - there is also the issue of splined sections on the driveshaft. One type doesn't fit without some extra machining.
This has certainly been explained elsewhere in the forum, if you haven't seen it already (but I don't know all of the points you need to know).

Hiya
When you do solve this riddle, let us know where you find them and the part Nos, I'd like to get some 'in stock' for that day that you find you need to replace them in a hurry.......
Did you try Chris Smith I'd have thought he'd know the details?
cheers

Just as an aside , in over 10 years of rallying I only changed my front and rear wheel bearings once due to wear.
And once prior to selling the car for assurance, the fronts only usually give problems with incorrect installation,
Additionally I never changed a driveshaft , ever.

Right, John - the carrier / upright assembly will determine which bearing kit you will need. Early models need the screw in retainer, per Lancia Beta. Later models (last few years) use the circlip, as per the Delta. I think the bearings themselves are the same for both models, but I may be mistaken.
As for the splines - If you go with the 5-lug Delta hub, you will either need to machine the splines out of the inner end of the hub (I don't know the exact length), or change your outer CV joints to Delta Integrale outer CV joints. They have the correct splined length to fit the 5-lug hubs, and are a direct fit to the Beta half shaft.
I may still have the invoice from John Whalley. If I can find it, I'll post any relevant information here.

The parts I bought weren’t for an upgrade to the 5 stud hubs as I built to 5 studs from day one. The parts I ordered were:
Integrale front wheel bearing kits-
I bought these from Tanc Barratt but there’s no part number on my invoice, however the box had “IMA Cuscinetti 1403/E” on it. The kits include one-piece bearings, hub nuts (NOT handed) and the bearing retaining circlip. I understand that these bearings are Evo front and rear as well as Integrale 16v front, but I could be mistaken! Matt sorted me out with this info as it was all very confusing. When I modified the splines in the flange to fit the beta outer CV joints I also took a couple of mm out of i/d of the pocket for the 36mm a/f nut. This then meant a standard 36mm socket would fit the nut. Alternatively you could grind the o/d your socket.
Fiat 132 front wheel bearing kits-
I bought these from Betacar but I’ve not got an invoice for them. The part number on the box was BRT347 (Ball Roller & Transmission Bearings LTD). The kits contained inner and outer bearings (split races), oil seal (inner) and l/h & r/h hub nuts.
Hope this helps.
Andrew.
