Firing Order for the Alfa V6 is 1 - 4 - 2 - 5 - 3 - 6

Above information taken from a Alfa press release, referring to the 24v 2.5 V6 being heralded as 'one of the worlds best engines'. Read the article for other info at http://www.alfaromeo.co.uk/news/news/archive/00cuore.htm

I don't have access to my car, or a manual, right now to check, but it also appears on an engine spec for the Alfa GTV on the web.

As far as I know, the V6 engine firing order was the same from when the engine appeared in the GTV6 (had one of those) and Alfa 6, through the 75 (had one of those), 155, 156 (got one of those), 145 GTA, 164, and 166 model ranges.

It just got extra capacity, extra camshafts, extra valves, and extra power :)

And looking at the dizzy cap, down the plug lead holes, the order is 3,6,5,coil,2,1,4. Thats with the open end of the cap facing to the right if that's any help!
