I have recently found this site thanks to one Stephen Ramm. I have been in love with the Stratos since I was a boy and have only dreamed of ever even seeing one in Grp 4 trim. Now that I have discovered the replicas I am hellbent on one day building one. I must commend and thank all of you for keeping the most fabulous car ever built alive and hope to one day join you in proud ownership.

Welcome to the club.
Austin is not that far from here. We'll have our car down in Dallas this summer for their annual TSD rally series. I'm sure we can arrange a meeting if you're interested.

Having found this excellent forum, I'd like to suggest that you also consider joining the Stratos Enthusiasts Club.
Some information is at www.stratclub.com but if you send an email to Nico Alonzi, (the club secretary: secretary@stratclub.com), he will be more than pleased to recommend reasons why you should join.
Special deal if you join now, your membership would run through to the end of 2004...
Edited to remove erroneous comma in url link tag!

Thank you for the welcome.
John, that is closer than I ever expected to find a Stratos and I would love to arrange a meeting sometime. Dallas sounds like a fine intermediary point. Keep in touch.
If you have the time I would love it you could e-mail some photos

Sorry, I've just fixed that. The bulletin board software put url tags around the link, but that included a comma I had typed in.
I've now edited the original message to avoid that problem.
The correct web link should go to:
www.stratclub.com
