I wouldn't worry if I were you. I also enquired about a carpet set and I have an original Stratos, they don't seem to care a lot about selling as I'm still waiting for their input.
Wonder how they do business...

In previous conversations with Andrew Cliffe at Omicron, he did say in so many words that Omicron reserves their stock of original parts for genuine cars. He will happily sell reproduction parts to kit owners (I purchased a reproduction Stratos nose badge, side repeater lights, and assorted decals for my Hawk), but he will only sell genuine Lancia parts to owners of the real thing.

Given the extremely short supply of genuine parts, I can't really fault him for it. I don't totally agree with the policy, but if he wants to pass up a sale just because the buyer owns a replica, that's his buisiness (or loss thereof).

Still, Omicron has never refused an order of mine, and it was with full knowledge that I was building a replica, not restoring an original car.

Having said that in their defense, I'll concede that Omicron does seem to respond very slowly to inquiries. I have waited for a couple of weeks to get a reply from them, and occasionally had to follow up with an additional call. If they haven't replied after a week or two, you might contact them again and remind them you are waiting for a reply.

cheers,
