I think someone else has details on the car, so hopefully that will be posted shortly.
But there is a photo of a car with this colour scheme in this month's Auto Italia magazine. The caption reads:
Recently restored by Giuseppe Volta, this Stratos is finished in Team Griffone's Olio Fiat colours. This livery was used by the team at the end of the car's career in 1980.
The registration number of the car in the magazine is 8190 WC 13, but I don't suppose that is any use when looking for history.
There are other photos of this livery on this site too, from Germany I think.
I've got a 'Skid' Vitesse model (SKC99002) of an Olio car, which is from the Rallye Sanremo 1980, driven by Fabrizio Tabaton / E. Radaelli. The registration number on the model reads GE 739328.
Given that information, I should think that one of the 'anoraks' could look it up in the books to find out some more history on it.
(I also think this is one of the best and brightest liveries to choose for a replica)

The 13 at the end of the registration refers to the french department 13, Marseille area. I beleive a car with this colour scheme competed in this years historic montecarlo. It was probably this car but can't read number plate in the magazine article.
After a bit of sanding and some blue paint, someones allora could look as good as this. The escort wasn't blue by any chance? Anyway I quite like the colourscheme.

When I was at Volta's last summer he was 'restoring' (pronounced converting) a dark blue Turin registered road Stratos into a Gp4 replica, for a French customer, probably to be rented for historic events. Could this be the end product?

Soon it could be for sale as a group 4 Stratos, ex montecarlo along with suitable price tag. Still, nice colours though.

I've just written to Guiseppe Volta to try and get the paint codes for the colour scheme. I've changed my mind about the Alitalia livery having seen it in the flesh - to my mind the Stratos doesn't look its best in white. David, do you have an email or web address for him - I couldn't find any on the internet, but got his address from a bloke in Germany who has a 037 rebuilt with bits from him.
