1/10 scale Stratos

I,ve heard that you can get a 1/10 scale stratos body shell for radio control cars.
Any one heard of such a beast or seen one.
At least then I could race a stratos too!!

Yeah - I've got a link to it somewhere. There's also a really small RC car made in Japan that's pretty neat. I'll post some info later when I have more time.

Kyosho do 1/10th and 1/8th scale Stratos RC bodies but I've only ever seen the tenth in the shops and the eight is like hobby horse...

So far as I'm aware, the 1/8th scale body was a limited run and isn't produced any more.

I will try to have one fitted for the next Abingdon event if it fits my car or I will try to get another chassis to fit the body.

If you find a 1/10th scale body that'll fit an electric buggy, then can you let me know, I'd love to get one on my Manta Ray.

If you measure the wheelbase and track (width) then we can see if it will fit I run a Traxxas Nitro 4-TEC PRO which is quite high so if I find one I will probably have some fitting to do or I may try it on my Schumacher CAT 2000 electric car.
Will post info as soon as I have found the body .

I saw that myself. I was thinking about bidding on it, provided it doesn't go too high.

Still kicking myself for buying the Audi Quattro rally instead of the original Lancia Rally back when they were still available new.

Hmmm...

The Kyosho Mini-Z Stratos is available in Europe/UK/Japan but not the US for some reason... They show up on eBay once in a while.

The 1/8 scale body is really impressive... I have one tucked away for a rainy day, along with the scale "coffin spoke" wheels. They may still be available through your local hobby dealer... expect to pay close to US$100 for the body/wheelsets.

I've never found a 1/10 scale body... I'd buy 4 at least.. One for the shelf, one for the HPI RS4 Racer2, one for the OFNA Hyper10, and maybe one for the old Kyosho Turbo Optima Mid SE.
