Can anyone help? I'm after a diagram of the Integrale's front hub assembly. Does anyone have a manual they could scan? I'm about to build the rear hubs of my Hawk. Also does anyone know the torque setting for the hub nut?
Thanks.
Andrew.

From memory, I think it's something like 325 lb/ft (for the Beta hub, anyway).
That generally translates as 'F.T.' or F'ing Tight
Or a breaker bar of between 18 inches and two foot long, with a male of suitable weight standing precariously on the end of the lever!!!
Not so bad when doing up these things, but getting them off again afterwards is bloody near impossible.

Drill a pilot hole at one of the stake positions and then slowly enlarge using bigger bits until the hole meets the threads on the stub axle/cv joint, break the outer edge of the nut with a cold chisel and spin the nut off with your fingers. Easy.

For werewolves - through the heart!
For Stratos hub assemblies - the outer part of the CV joint threaded end has what looks like a keyway in it. The hub nut has a thinner outer section that should be crimped or staked into this indent to prevent it coming loose.
That make sense?

Andrew,
I'll send you the Integrale workshop manual on CD if you want, these are a doddle to fit on a Stratos kit.
And John is correct - 325ft lbs is the torque setting.
Cheers

Have you looked at the thread "Hawk/Transformer Hub" from August 2002? Their might be something there.
