Hello
Does anyone of you know of any diffbreak that will fit in a Fiat twincam grarbox?
I'm thinking aboute trying with a reardiff for a Lancia integrale but it seems to big.
I have also tryed with Ford sierra and Opel Manta and none of those would fit.
Some machining is ok but I dont want to reconstruct the whole grearbox.
I have not been able to find anyone that sells diffbreaks for these gearboxes.
Its the same gearbox as the alfa 164 and several other fiatgroupe gars.

I need this info for two cars, my longdistance racecar (Fiat Tipo) and my summer car (Lancia beta monte-carlo with a ferrari 308 v8 engine from a thema).

Is a diffbrake what I know as a Limited Slip Differential?

Yes. Or a torsen diff as in the case of the integrale rear diff.
Anything goes. But I dont like the external silicon break of the Fiat coupe.
Beacuse it cant stand the heat that builds up in it during a long distance race.
Its hard to cool.

Eric,

I have used a diff from Gripper Diffs for the past 2 seasons without any problem.

You can contact them on 02476 404 614 or go to their website www.racecar.co.uk/gripper
