I'm looking for the end-to-end length of the half-shafts you are using.

If or if not you used a standard length 308 half-shaft and the model from whence it came?.......308's were available with different length shafts, i.e Mondial's and GTB's & GTS's, and GT4's.

Or if custom, as I plan to use the Integrale rear outer CV's and the Ferrari's inner CV's. I just may hybridize the custom Beta shafts I had made with a standard 308 to ensure the splines on both ends mate up to their respective mates. I need to find the length.

Thanks!

I'm using a Thema 832 engine and box combo where I'm sure that the later will provide different halfshaft lengths to your setup.

I had custom shafts made up to mate to the Alfa/Lancia splines and to a Ford bolt pattern at the hub end.

They're rated to 300bhp.

Completely different animal. Data would not be relevant.

The 308 uses two equal length half-shafts and no intermediate shaft like the Alfa/Thema/Beta boxes.

Just need the length of the shaft (no jokes please) from those who have btdt.

Yup, I thought so.

The info your looking might not come racing towards you from here, at "Alfa v6-r-us". I sometimes wish that I'd opted for this option as my car might nearly be finished by now...sniff.

;)

Good luck.

Well I have measured mine, although I took the distance between
the cv casings as my cvs are different, and the length is 435mm.
Personally I think you should take the length directly from your car and that way there will be no surprises; things like the amount of plunge you should accommodate will depend on the degree of suspension travel your setup requires, do you need/want circlips at one or both ends etc
If you want new custom shafts I would recommend Mark Williams (www.markwilliams.com) for high quality shafts.
