Noticed some press about the Vectra fitted with the i32 engine - 302bhp.

I believe John Davison works at the plant where thses are assembled.

3.2litre V6 Supercharged producing 302bhp and 370nm of torque- sounds interesting. Supercharged so no heat disappation problems like there would be with a turbo.

Wouldn't mind one falling off the back of a lorry in front of my house.

Plant is just round the corner from me. Anyone got a spare back door key?

Sorry to disappoint you guys but this is not an Ellesmere Port built engine, I think its a derivitive of the all aluminium engine which is built elsewhere. Sadly my days in the V6 plant came to an end last friday, and I am moving on where I may actually be asked to work for a living in general assembly:(
Sounds a good option for great power though- I will let you know if I can find out more.
