I'm after a pair of hub nut washers to suit the 132 uprights and a pair of the dust caps. My local Fiat/Lancia "specialist" gave me a very funny look..... perhaps I was stood funny....

If anyone has any they'd like to sell, please let me know.

I'm also after a pair of 'grale outer CV joints, bearing circlips and hub dust caps for my 5 stud hubs, if anyone can help.

Cheers,

Andrew.

Parts are identical to the Fiat 124 Spider. I can't speak highly enough of these guys in Germany! Prices are great too, even after carriage which is usually very fast.

Guy,

Are you sure about that?

My Allora used to have Fiat 124 front spindles, and I changed to Fiat 132 when I was redoing my front suspension setup following the CCC test.

I seem to remember that the Inner Hub Bearing was different, because the spindles are a different diameter.

Hi Dave, you may well be right about that. I haven't actually dismantled the two side by side but visually the hubs look the same. The stub axles are different though, the height of the ball joint mounting faces varies however the requested components are the same, grease cap, locknuts and washers and these should be available from Spiderpoint.

Thanks for the help guys. Spider point show the washer for the keyed shaft and no doubt will be able to supply the caps. First I'll try my nearest Lada specialists.... I don't think their officially imported any more?

Hi Andrew, want to try an experiment? Order a set of inner and outer bearings for a Fiat Spider, 1979 CS2, and try them in your hub. If they don't fit then pack them up and drop them in the post to me and I'll send you a cheque back for the cost. We'll get a definitave answer plus I may end up with some useful Spider spares!

Guy,

If I remember rightly, the hubs are the same - it's the taper and diameter of the spindles on the stub axles which are different.

And as you said, the distance between the top and bottom ball joint is about an inch different.

The locknuts are the same.

I have a set of 124 bearings still in boxes in the garage. I'll sort them out for you sometime.

Guy,

Have spare 132 bearings in the garage too - well, Lada Riva actually.

Guy,

I've already got the bearing but it sounds like your sorted anyway.

Thanks for the help.

Andrew.

All,

Have seen various threads on this subject, but all rather old and the contacts included don't seem to exist any longer.

Does anyone know where I can get hold of the Stub Nuts, Tab Washer and the bearing Dust Cover. ( I am using Gerry's 5 stud hub conversion)

Any assistance would be gratefully received

Regards

Iain

Iain, I got my nuts from Gerry new and the washers from one of the club members. I haven't sourced my covers yet..... possibly the scrap yard? I need to check with Gerry or ask here like you have

Does anyone know where I can get hold of the Stub Nuts,

Try here:

http://www.superformance.co.uk/fiat/fiatdrives.htm

Same as 132 hubs.

Also:

or even:

Bear in mind that the outer (small) bearing and stub are the same as a 124, so suppliers of 124 Spider parts should be able to help.
BUT PLEASE NOTE: The inner stub and (large) inner bearing are NOT the same as a 132, so 124 front bearing sets are no good to you.

124 parts:

Grease caps:

I see Guy's already 'pointed' you in the right direction in another thread?
