The StratosSupersite Photo Gallery should be operational again now.

You should be able to upload photos, create new galleries, etc.

Is there an optimum physical and file size for the gallery images?

Nice to have you back and thanks for the work on the forum.

Is it possible for you to open the gallery to more file types please? I'm thinking especially of .pdf, .wmf and maybe .doc files? I've technical drawings I'd like to put there.

Max size is 2500x2500 pixels and the gallery will automatically create the correct size thumbnail regardless of the size of the file that has been uploaded.

The larger the files you upload the greater the storage requirements and potential bandwidth usage you are placing on the server.

I would prefer uploads to be kept to less than 1000x1000 if possible.

I allowed up to 2500x2500 to allow people who didn't know how to resize photos from their cameras an easy upload.



Regarding additional file types, I will look into the possibility of adding those file types.

I could probably convert any file type to jpeg etc. I know I've converted pdf to jpeg in the past, and I've got better software now.
