I need a wiper switch assembly for a '94 LS as a matter of some urgency! Totally different to a Beta of course....

TIA

Is this for the one you're selling? Saw it on Pistonheads, as I'm looking for a "family car" ... Give me a few more details as I could be interested.
Thanks, Russell.

Hi Russell. It is, or rather it was - I've sorted it. Strange fault actually. Intermittent wipe has never worked since we got the car, so I thought I'd have a quick look and see if I could sort it (after 2 years of ownership!). Found a wire had been removed at the motor. Restored it, but the wiper wouldn't stop wiping so reasoned fault must be in wiring or switch. Soon found it was the switch. During investigation of the switch, became concerned that the cleaner I made it, the worse the fault readings where, hence wanting a new one. Anyhoo, very long story a bit shorter, stripped the switch down last night and traced the fault to a piece of the plastic structure that was doing a good impersonation of a short circuit - I kid you not! Removed offending carbonised plastic, wipers now work as Lancia intended. Result.

What would you like to know about the car? I can volunteer some stuff. The tyres are almost new on the front, slightly older but still no more than 5k miles on the rears, all Avon ZV3s. New CAT-back exhaust fitted just after we got it. New rear brake flexis last year after MOT advisory. New handbrake cables 18 months ago (ish). Manifold/downpipes are looking good. It appears to have a new inlet system fitted at some fairly recent point before we got it as it looks a lot newer. AFAIK, the VIS is working fine, it's not got the flat spot associated with a VIS fault. The front and rear subframes look to be in superb condition. Again, I think these must have been renewed at some fairly recent point.

Err, Sony CD radio, factory sunroof, TAX to Jan 09, MOT to mid - August...can't think of much else at present but please ask if you want details or pics.

It's an old Thema, so there is some rust of course, but it's surprisingly good for the age. Underneath is very clean.

I'm near Worcester.
