Right folks, all you 24V converts etc....what have you got lying about that's spare/scrap/suspect?? I'm contemplating putting a 3l motor in my Alfa 155 V6 as a way to solve it's engine woes. I've got one 12V motor and some bits, but I took this particular one out of my Corse last year due to it being very, very smokey. I have yet to strip it to see what's wrong with it. If it's top end, that'll be fine as I have spare heads etc., but I thought I'd ask just in case anyone has anything not-too-dreadful going cheap.
If I was a real glutton, I could pull the fresh 12V out of the Corse, put that in the 155 then convert to 24V like everyone else :)
....but not even I am that nutty.
Never know, might even be someone out there with a good 155 V6 motor for sale???
