Front coilovers?

I was advised to go for 13.5 open, 9.5 closed.

I'm on the hunt for some shocks with a slimmer, longer section at the bottom so they'll clear the lower arm better.

We know that GAZ are too wide at the bottom, but what about AVO? Two or three people have them on Hawks now.

I have Gaz units on the front of mine and they fit fine with a Gerry mod!! Gerry advised me to use a hammer and a drift. Tapped the arms a little wider and all's fine...
