12v cam removal tool?

Hi, Has anyone got a 12v cam removal tool i could please borrow?

Hi Struan, I had seen that, but it is only a puller, which i have.

What i need, is like a large open ended spanner with 2 lugs that is used to hold the wheel so you can undo the bolts.

However, while the forum was down, i made something that i think should do the job.

Ah, now we're back up and running - yes.

I've been working with Gary at totally Alfa and have measured some special tools for him.

There are possibly one or two more on the way.

Hi Gazza, can the twincam valve spring compressor be used on a 12v V6. It looks kinda like the one on my CD.

If it can't be used, will you be producing one for the V6?

Hi Tim

Yes the main part of the tool is the same. It is just the adaptor ( the bit that attaches to the head) that changes. What part numbers does you manual give for the tool? If it is the same as the Alfa Twinspark adaptor then there would be no problem in making up a tool for the V6
