View Full Version : Anyone Got A Lancia Parts Disc?

Hi all, the Alfa failed it's MOT test today. Looks like I'm replacing every component of the rear brakes plus a few other bits and pieces.... I think the point where it becomes too expensive to fix is coming soon but one more year might be nice! Mileage is up to 151,500 - just how much longer can the original clutch and shocks last?
Anyway, I'm aware of the onset of bush failure on the front wishbones (although it didn't fail on them) so I'm looking on Ebay for replacements. There's a pair listed at the moment for £15 (!!) plus a little postage that look very similar to mine but my parts disc for the Alfa only lists compatible parts from other Alfas. The Alfa part number is 60813014, can anyone tell me if the same part number exists for the Dedra so I'll know if they are interchangeable?
Cheers

many thanks Struan - love these listings without the full information! Not that it's easy to find out!

Always glad to oblige with incomplete/irrelevant info!
All cars listed use same swinging arm/TCA.

Guy. According to the copy of ePer I have, that part was superseded in 2003 by 46474557. This part is common to the following vehicles;

Fiat PC coupe '94 to '96
Fiat PX coupe '98 to 2000
Alfa 146 95 96 (as you probably know....)
Alfa 155 T3 Gamma 96 97

No Lancias listed I'm afraid.

HTH...but it does seem at odds with Struan's info.

Yes my copy is up to 2003, so please bear that info in mind...

Thanks Chris, since Struans posting I've bid on the wishbones and, as they are for future use, if I don't win them it's not the end of the world! If I do get them and they turn out to be wrong I can always pass them along to the Dedra people in the Lancia Club.
In the meantime, the exhaust came off the Alfa easily (only been on 2 weeks!) and I've managed to strip out the compensator valve (seized solid) plus the calipers and discs. All the replacement parts have been sourced and should be here next week. Hopefully the headlight fail was down to an incorrectly seated bulb I've just found. With a bit of luck they won't spot the cracked screen they missed first time round! It's going to be replaced ASAP but may not happen before the retest next week. Just hope I can get it all done in time to make it to Stoneleigh Historic...

Cheers

Funny enough, I had my 155 MOTed Saturday. Passed with flying colours. Just as well they don't test for engine noise though...mine sounds like two bags of spanners in a tumble dryer these days.

Struan, funny that they seem to have dropped the other cross references for what is still the same part. I forget the age of my copy of ePer - 2005 maybe - but it does still cover the Dedra so it's a bit odd.

Could just be a pricing issue. Manufacturers like to charge extra for a premium brand. So the Fiat part would be cheaper than the Alfa/Lancia part.
The same thing, in a different box and part number. The accountants may have been at the parts inventory, between the issue dates of our discs....!
It is tricky to interpret the info, which is why I posted the pages... E&OE. Let others work it out!

Just realised while checking for something else. Had a peep and there they are, yours from £23
SAPMotorparts (https://www.sapmotorparts.com)

Under track control arms and wishbones then select your model etc

I've used SAP a lot proved very reliable, if it's wrong they will take it back no Q's

I'm off in the morning to pick up a new battery as it's a bank holiday today over here.

Hope it helps

Well that just casts doubt - 2 pin sizes, 15mm and 17mm and the ones listed on Ebay (£15 a PAIR) that I've bid on list models with both pin sizes....
Oh well, like I said - I've bid and if I win I'll find out if they fit and if they don't I'll pass them along!
I hope nobody else posts to confise it further! I'll let you know when they arrive!
