Mark Sims of RallyingOnline was the official photographer of the event and wil be sending you some proofs in the next few days.
Dave Shields was the photographer who was doing the pictures at the prizegiving, and he has promised to send me some pictures that he took of the Stratos in action in the Sprint.

Dave Shields has informed me that he has some of the pictures up on his website.
These are low-res versions, but if you cantact him, he can supply you with the hi-res versions, or printed copies.
His website is www.devilgas.com and you need to look in the Rallying section.
I have attached a sample picture below.

hi guys, nice to have met you all on saturday, and thanks to nico, dave, phil and john for the rides!
there's a ridiculously large photo here (http://homepage.ntlworld.com/devilgas/misc/stratii.jpg) of the line up at the presentation....

How do we all get away with such small front number plates? Mine looks almost legal compared to some! Shame you can't see Chris Smiths', but then again, if there was a 5mph headwind you'd only see the edge anyway....

And of all of them, the original Stradale Stratos probably has the largest number plate!
Photo's on the site look neat - although I must say that the only two that look really fast are of Nico and Bernard getting the back end onto the grass. And they aren't even the rally drivers!!!
I'm waiting to see photo's of my pirouette (and a video version too), which was obviously a deliberate move intended as a 'crowd pleaser'.

I read somewhere recentlythat Japanese cars were to be allowed to use smaller numberplates in this country - I don't see why it should be a special dispensation for them. I suppose it is the MOT tester that is most likely to object, certainly Mr.Plod seems happy to blind eye some really illegible fonts on some cars, at least these are legible. Full size stick-on ones on the nose are the answer, IMHO.

Besides the photos taken by Dave Shields (DevilGAS), I see that Rally Gallery (rallygallery.com) were photographers for the event. Hopefully they will have their proofs on the site soon enough.
PS - they do have a photo of Dave's car from the last Longcross event, with it's temporary airbox cover modification on the rear end which some of you will have heard about. See http://www.rallygallery.com/whole_events/brook_stages2003/brook_stages2003_img_0214.jpg to show the car landing at the top of the 3-in-1 ramp.
And I'd hope that some of the forum members will post copies of photo's they took at the weekend - either in the Supersite forum (max 500 pixels width) or in the main photo gallery.

That's ok, so long as you don't want to run with a spotlamp pod too.

There are some photos starting to appear in the member galleries, I've just added a few static pics in my gallery to add to the ones in Bernards area.
Dave, is there a folder for this years Abingdon? I couldn't see one and didn't know if I could or how to create one?
I've got a couple of Mpegs too, nothing great picture wise but some great V6 sounds off the line, I need to figure a way of stripping the sound off and posting. Any Ideas anyone?
Still smiling since the weekend!
cheers
