The 2007 TV coverage of the Chatsworth Rally Show was shown on Channel 5 on Monday night/Tuesday morning (part one). Part two is next week.
According to people on the British rally forum there will be two part programmes on the 2007 Tour of Mull for the two weeks following the Chatsworth progs.

Yes Rob, it is Race and Rally UK, and I gather from the rally forum that it's already been on Sky a while ago.
We've just got the five channels!

I noticed there was a clip of you Rob, with some of the Duke's undergrowth still attached to the underside!

...For the stage sessions - just fill in the entry form and send them a cheque !
Are you coming out to play to the crowds then Chris? :)

So, around £200 for entry, maximum of 35 cars, five sessions.
Is this just basically an excuse to play around with your car on a stage?
And if it's 90% smooth asphalt and 5% broken asphalt, what is the rest of it? Not 5% for the watersplash :-o

Yes, Yes and Gravel....at the start.....
after some of the quick 4x4 boys have gone over it though its 70% Tarmac 10% gravel and 20% mud! ;)
Still a good laugh though
Well done Chris, wish convincing my Mrs was so easy!!

From a spectators point of view its better than a sprint meeting. Much more to see that interests ourselves.
Then from a co-drivers point of view ' AWESOME' Just to be able to drive round one of the all time classic country house stages at full chat, sideways this way, sideways that way in front of thousands of spectators. I can't really begin to descibe it  It's one event that will become the focal point of the season.
If your car is up and running, get an entry in, you won't be dissapointed. How good would it be to have half a dozen replicas lined up :)

Recalling the Spa Rally event, I guess it would make sense to fit a [lightweight] sump guard, raise the suspension for more ground clearance, and get some more suitable tyres (Toyo R888 track tyres not likely to find much grip there)?

The second half of the Chatsworth Show was shown last night. No footage of any of the stage session runners, just the cars running in the 'rallies'. Some good action though of all the classes and some good in car stuff.

Of course, but at the end of the weekend, we'd have a line up of smashed up cars with a trail of fibreglass behind

Yes we did John, and I enjoyed every second of it :D :D :D :D
However, I also realise how easy we could have smashed ourselves to bits.
