It's about £107,000

£100,000 seems to be the going rate for a road car?

It's roughly the same price as the Swiss one Pim.

So replica prices now start at £35,000?

They actually sell at less than half that. What a bargain!

Where did this figure come from Chris? I'm assuming at one time somebody said a replica was worth about a third of an original. If so, it just shows how daft original prices have gone.

Economics lesson. Supply and demand. Finite supply of originals. Why pay £35k for a replica when you can build it yourself for £18-£20?

Happy Christmas one and all!

It is a matter of convenience. Gerry and Lionel offer 'turnkey' cars for around £35k and if someone wants a car without the hassle or time, then they are currently getting a real bargain at £18k.

Happy Christmas
