You should be able to use a (seat belt?) warning light from an old Volvo (244, I believe) for the handbrake warning light. You just have to polish off the diagram on the Volvo unit.

Not sure about the need for a speedo sensor, I just unscrewed the electronic sender and screwed in the Hawk/Beta cable...
