Hi Guys

I've been along time Strat fan...and having recently moved to a house with a garage, I'm now in the position to start saving for a Hawk kit... :D
I live in the Camberley area and was wondering if there are any guys near by that might be able to show me their Stratos (built or building) and maybe take me out of a ride...I have a V8 DAX Rush so I could return the favour! (Subject to weather  ).

Gerry at Hawk gave me John Rutters number but I thought it abit rude to call up out of the blue and I thought it would be better to get it touch with people via the forum.

Hi to you all
Regards
Andy

Cheers for thinking that way. But if you want to see/be taken out in a Stratos replica, I should be able to manage that for you. I see you also have contact from Matt, who is equally local and has a much cleaner and better-finished car. Similarly, Peter (MudHut) is further south in Hampshire, with a cleaner car than mine. See a theme here?

There are others nearby who have incomplete cars, so if/when you start building, you can share your experiences with those guys too.

As for my car - it's currently got the door internals all disconnected, with minor repair work required, so I can't use it at short notice. Probably won't touch it this week, and should be marshalling (or else spectating) on the Tempest Rally next weekend, so car not likely to be usable until after then.

Anyway, drop me a line and I'll try to let you know when I've put the car back together again.

Cheers

Thanks to all of you for your offers.
I will certainly be following up with you all soon.
As it would be very useful to get to see a few different examples.
I'm currently waiting for some parts to arrive to get the DAX running then I'll be in the position to hold my end of the bargin :D

BAS you have a PM
Ruttthenut you have a PM

Many thanks
Andy

Sorry Andy - meant to reply to this thread earlier.

My car is off the road for the winter but if you wish to take a look, you are more than welcome.
