I have decided I definately want to move to a Crossle for next season so I am pricing the Hawk accordingly.

I will sell it for £12000 as it is. Either for use as a race car or as a project (it comes with all the necessary parts to convert it back to road spec).

Alternatively I will convert it back and sell with an MOT for £14000.

See http://www.fastroadandtrack.co.uk/frat/showad.php?adid=5577 for the full advert.

Correct the car is sold. I don't think it is a secret as he has already posted on here, it has been bought by Elliott. I am in the process of putting it back to road spec, Elliott is considering having it resprayed before I reassemble it (which is sensible), I will not spoil his thunder on the colour scheme, only to say it will look good.

PS my offer on the Crossle was accepted.......

Best of luck with the Crossle, the racing bug is a hard thing to get rid of......I'm struggling with that one too!.

Here is a link to a picture of the Crossle, It may take some getting used too, but is a classic in it's own right.

Roger,

I'm delighted that you approve of the colour scheme which I have in mind. It took me a long time to decide which way I wanted to go with it but I do believe the pink, green and blue polka dot all over effect with the mauve spoilers was the best choice! ;) :D

Dont mock the polka dot till you try it, made our wee car a whole lot faster (till the wheel fell off)
PS congrats on your purchase, enjoy
