There is a little panic here in Holland.
There is talk of a change i SVA regulations that would make it more difficult for foreighners to get registration via the UK.
It seems that per oktober 2007 we should have prove of an Englisch donor car and registration should go via a person living in England ?
Any one heard of this change ?
Registration via UK is essential because it is near impossible to get registration via the Dutch RDW. And because The UK is a EU member the Dutch RDW must accept UK registered vehicles.
Also, an age related plate would be preferable because of the import taxes i have to pays.
For a car with 1992 registration this would mean only 500,00 Euros. Also it would mean lesser emmision rules. A 2007 registration would mean almost 5000,00 Euros of taxes
