I recently attended the Chatsworth Rally show and after seeing both original and replica Stratos cars running my childhood interest in what I've always thought was the most beautiful looking car in the world has been re-awakended.
Having looked at both Napier and Hawk web sites the next step is to ask you, the owners/builders of these kits, more about the work involved and look at the potential pitfalls/minefiles that are out there for each model before deciding on which route to go down.
So I'll hand it over to the gurus on the forum - is there a preference between the two kits, which is the more 'authentic', which is the easier kit to build/obtain parts for, which (if any) donor vehicles are preferred - I've got a million and one questions but hopefully the experts here can 2nd guess most of them and answer the usual questions for probably the nth time.
I'm not 100% commited to this project yet but if I decide to go ahead with a build I know that it's a labour of love and long-term commitment and an understadning g/f and bank manager are required!!!!!
Thanks in advance
Rik
