The Stratos Supersite website will be getting a substantial update during the night tonight (May 15th) so if you experience any difficulty gaining access, it should hopefully be only temporary.

If you discover any problems on the new website, please let me know either through the forum or by email.

Suggestions for improvements are also welcome.

Wanted to do a backup before I changed the website, but, due to the size of the website now, the backup crashed at about 3am. I restarted it and went to bed, and it's nearly finished now.

Changes to the website should start at about 9am, and so it should be OK by later this morning.

It's done.:) :)

There's a few pages which still need attention, and I won't get time to do them until next week, but most of the site is now back operational.

Hope you enjoy the new look.

Dave,
The site looks fantastic. Thanks for all your efforts. It's much appreciated by all of us in the club and I hope it'll make people want to use it even more!

Cheers!

Great new look Dave, obviously lots of time spent on it so I guess your car "tidying up" is well on schedule.

p.s. my repairs also going well thanks mainly to Gerry Hawkridge who has been terrific.

Car tidy-up is BEHIND schedule, and I've got a rally at Longcross on Sunday, but I needed to get the website update out of the way, and off my mind.

Hopefully during next week, I'll get the News and Motorsport pages redone and uploaded.

But the new format makes it easier for me to do updates on the website, so hopefully, in the long term, the effort in making the change will result in less work to keep the site maintained.

Aahh, Gerry obviously wants a Hawk to win again this year :D :D - we'll have to see what we can do about that ...

Damn, you've got me thinking about Abingdon again, when I should be concentrating on this weekend - but I'm really looking forward to this year's Abingdon, can't wait for it to come round.

Dave

I've just had a look at the new look site. Very good, including the Cars for Sale section.

It seems nobody wants that genuine Stratos that's for sale.

I think it would look great in your garage parked next to your rep.

I did mention to Georgina about remortgaging the house so I could buy it - very strange, she didn't seem to think it was that good an idea.
