Found these on e bay, look like the same chrome bit as on the Stratos window clamp, comes from an Alfa Montreal or Alfetta

The part looks right to me Pim, I've found them on Fiat Dino Coupe together with the black plastic wheel. It's part of the front window (quarterlight) opening mechanism.

Hi Pimms
I used these in conjunction with the Hawk part to get the right look.
Regards Mark.

Hi Mark,

How did you do this? Any pictures?

Thanks, Pim

Hi Pimms
I slowly ground the protusions off the back of the above so as not to discolour the chrome, then filed / ground two v's opersite in the hawk hand wheel on the outer edges to again let the above sit flat, then drilled and tapped the centre of the hand wheel to take the small chrome screw,
not the best explanation but if you had both parts in your hand you would understand,
not a exact replication but close,
sorry no pictures, uploadind them is not my strongest point.
Regards Mark.

Here's what i did, maybe needs some more work.
Firts i bored 2 holes opposite of each other in the hand wheel. I also ground the protusions on the back of the chrome parts.
Then a friend of mine worked the hand wheels with a lathe so the chrome parts fit better inside the hand wheels.
I have no close ups of the Strato's hand wheel, but i think the chrome parts need to get in further ( deeper, see side vieuw ). Any experts on this?
