Would these have been for the coolant pipes but are too close to the manifold for comfort?

I have my car set up with these and when the engine gets swapped I'm changing them for copper pipes with 90 degree soldered bends.

More room and they wont melt !!

Got it in one! My pipes are stainless, so I've used brass 35mm compression joints (about £13-00 each!)
