Just a quick update.
Looks like the nose badge, handbrake warning lamp and side/indicator units have sold.
'Had some interest in the dashboard, wheels and steering wheel hub, but nothing definite yet.

Photo of the bonnet pins/alloy extensions etc.
There's 3mm machined off the bottom of one of the extensions, so I'll knock some off. £4.50 for the lot.

Ok,
The steering wheel hub, Compomotive wheels and tyres, Beta handbrake cable, Lancia nose badge, handbrake dash warning lamp, combined front side and indicator units have all sold.
I've amended the list to show what's left.
No time limit on parts now. I can't use the car without wheels.

Chris if you sell any more you wont have a car for the wheels your going to buy.
How soon are you going to get your new wheels. I take it you have checked Gerry for stock levels of the coffin spoke?
How wet was Mull?
The chap my mate was servicing for this year lasted 38 seconds of stage one before totalling his 205 opps!

It is a bit like that. At the moment it's got no wheels, no lights on the front and no nose badge. Soon, it'll have no dash either, but I do have other parts to replace them.
I need two 8" coffin spokes which I'm hoping I can get before Spring of next year at least. You mean Gerry doesn't keep piles of them ready for delivery?
'Didn't go (again!) but Mull was dry apart from the last couple of stages on the second night, and that's when one or two of the regular top runner got caught out. James was third in my brother's Escort Mk2, which wasn't bad behind two WRC Subarus?
There was a brilliant video of this year's Tour of Mull on YouTube, but it was taken off soon after it appeared. I think it must be some sort of commercial venture? It was far too good to be any thing else?

Ok Chris I think your having a wee joke :) here but in case your not and for others that read the forum my understanding of the coffin spoke was the initial batch made covered the numbers needed for those in the consortium with a small stock for Gerry. How many that was i dont think is open knowledge however the rub is that a 2nd batch may not be forth coming unless another large order could be obtained.
Any others that know any better please correct me :)
Cheers

I'm sure the big expense was having the tooling made for the wheels. Later batches wouldn't be such a problem. No I doubt Gerry has lots of wheels in stock, but I thought he might have a set or two. Compomotive do advertise them on their website but with the Hawk name on them.
The thing is, quite a few people (I know of at least two) have bought sets of wheels since the initial batch. I have no idea when they were manufactured but I wouldn't have thought they were all made with the first batch? I might be wrong?

Actually, now that I think about it John, I can too.
I doubt Gerry would have had this many extra made in the first batch? You never know?

There has been at least one extra batch produced since the initial run. I also think that there was a cock up at Compomotive that resulted in another batch being run off and drillled 108mm instead of 98mm. Gerry may have come to an arrangement with them over these. I've seen at one set go on eBay for a price below list (and close enough to cost that Gerry hasn't repeated it).
As far as I know Gerry tries to keep a stock of wheels. I've since bought a spare front and rear just in case....

I was at Gerry`s a month or so ago and picked up a set of Ferrari spec Coffin spokes at a good price, there were plenty of other boxes of wheels,I wouldn`t have thought they were all Ferrari spec ?

Gerry did indeed end up with a large quantity of wheels with Ferrari PCD - as per Guys' earlier post. No idea how many Alfa PCD wheels he has though.

Elliott,
Yes I've still got it. I'll weigh it and work out how much it would cost to send.
