Matters arising at the SEC AGM

Not that it really matters, but this topic should be in the Club section.

Anyway chaps, this is your chance to make suggestions to help improve YOUR club - speak now or forever hold your thingy ;)

Couple of things that need to be decided at the AGM.

1. The Chequered Career Trophy. This is a trophy made from the burned out wreckage of the first Flag car. It is traditionally handed out annually to a long standing member of the club who has had the most misfortune, or caused the most amusement to other club members. Previous winners have been David Watson and Nico Alonzi, I believe that Nico is the holder of the trophy at the moment, but he is desperate to hand it to someone else in the club.

So, Can you please contact myself or John if you have any nominations for this trophy. I believe, there is one nomination already though.

2. Appointment of officers. This in the past has been a major problem, as volunteers are usually rarer than hens teeth at a club AGM, but the club cannot function well without a dedicated committee.
I do not know if any of the existing officers are wanting to stand down, but volunteers are always welcome.
