On the way home from the Spa gp. He had earlier led the tributes to Colin Mcrae. Himself and the missus walked out of the wreckage.

And I thought co-driving in a Strat was dangerous!

Andy that is only when you co drive Mr D Watson.

On a more serious note I am a qualified pilot but wont go in a helicopter for love nor money. Mrs S got me a local flight in one last year for my birthday and I had'nt the heart to tell her I wont go. If it goes wrong or your pilot flakes out there is sod all you can do. I would rather sit with Sando going up the Col :D

And I thought it was all part of the Stratos experiance. It's the only car I've ever co-driven in.

Isn't one of the safety procedures in helicopter training an emergency auto-gyrate landing?

Ok if you still have some bits to gyrate i guess?

This crash took the wrong guy. Colin was the best promotion of motorsport all around the world. David has killed motorsport and will not be in peace until any left-overs are flavored with his touch...

A rather contentious and particular unpleasant comment from you their Tryphon.

Mr Richards has had a large influence on motorsport, but it isn't all bad. It certainly doesn't deserve your comments wishing him dead.

How about:

This crash took the wrong person. Tryphon has ruined many threads on the forum with his tainted and poisonous comments made with the real intention of annoying or upsetting people and pandering to his own ego. Someone should buy him a one-way ticket on a fatal helicopter ride.

WTF

I think that it was meant more as Colin alive, rather than Dave dead.

Read it how you like.

I also regret that Colin and friends/family were killed, but didn't use that as an opportunity to slag off another motorsport supremo who was lucky to survive a different accident.

Hey let yourself go, praise Bernie while you're at it.
Let me guess you love one and all (with monor exceptions), were around when people were smoking weird stuff and still remember Woodstock. Make love not war dude...
