Memory Jog required

Can anyone remind me where the wire from the V6 rev counter should be connected - is it the positive or negative side of the coil??

I've lost the bit of paper that speedy cables sent with it and I cant remember.

Have asked a few people but have had mixed answers, so thought I'd ask those in the know!!

Matt,

Assuming you mean the trigger wire ( ;) ) then it's coil negative.

Coil positive is solid +12v, coil negative is switched by the ECU to make the sparks - this is where you find the big spikes that the rev counter counts.
