Thought I'd continue this in a new thread, rather than confuse the aerodynamics thread.
Dave, it must be KPP your using at that price, Kaylan is much more expensive. Here's what i got from them:

You have a couple of options depending on what you are wanting the plastic to protect.

1. KAYLAN

A flexible material ideal for mudflaps and underbody protection, used for applications such as deflective 'curtain's or for wrapping around trailing links and other similar components. Available in a variety of thicknesses and in almost any colour. (except for white!)

2. KDPP

A semi-rigid material ideal for sump & tank guards and 'skidding' the underside of the car. Also good for lining wheelarches.
Available in several thicknesses in white or black colour.
