Talking to Geoff Turton today he reminded me that he used to remanufacture the interior door handles and has supplied sets to owners of several original cars. They are not cheap but the quality is fantastic. If anyone wants a set (handles, backing plates and spoons) please post a reply here, assuming we can get a run of 10 pairs done the price would be £200 per set. I already have them fitted ot my car, now 13 years old, so come and see them at Stoneleigh or Abingdon. Once we get a run organised there would be a 50% deposit with the balance payable on delivery.

Guy,

I'm famliar with the handles and "spoons", but what are the backing plates? Are these used to attach the handle to the door panel? Any pics available?

I already have the handles and spoons as sourced from a Fiat 850 Spyder, but currently need to fabricate some additional bracketry to attach to the door.

Cheers,

Speaking of spoons.......

I have acquired thrugh time a couple few sets of handles & spoons in various condition but all quite usable.

If anyone is indeed in need let me know and I'll let them go for what I've gotten into them for plus shipping.

Currently the average is $25 bucks a pair for the spoons and $30 bucks a pair for the handles.

I've got about 6 or 7 sets in good condition and about 4 or 5 in fair. All of the spoons are good as they are made of stainless.

Not in this to make money, but trades very much considered as well. OR maybe put towards that ally roof slat group buy we're doing!

by the way.....for those east side of the Atlantic, a "buck" is an American Dollar :D

Jeff - I could certainly use a set of spoons and handles. Would you prefer bucks or greenbacks:D

Steve, pictures of dead US presidents would work nicely as well.

I'll set a set aside for you. Just tell me where you'd like them sent. Email is fine for the details.

Hi Jeff

I'd be interested in a pair. I may also have a couple of bits to trade. I'll email you my details, let me know how much you want for a good complete set or any bits you're short of.

cheers
