Seemed a decent chap on the phone. Where is he in Nottinghamshire? i may have time for a trip on Wednesday. Not for the twink, before you all get alarmed! ;)

Only contact was by e-mail. Always signs as Teresa.

An alternator for the 24V failed to arrive - no quibbling and another was sent. Only real moan was that delivery was very slow after the auction, but that was clearly stated in the item description so it's not as if I didn't expect it.

In that case it isn't who I was thinking of, because he's from Sutton in Ashfield, not Mansfield.

Yes indeed.
I've dealt with Tony Johnson several times. Very helpful and knowledgeable but this doesn't sound like him.
Chris, if you're coming to Mansfield on Wednesday, how about meeting up for a drink & bite to eat. Wednesday (wait for it John H ) is my afternoon off and I'm only a couple of miles from Mansfield anyway.
What are your plans?

His name is Tony, and he said he's "near Mansfield" - From way up here they look like the same place! :D
Meeting up sounds good Mick. Plans not really formed yet, but might be getting down there early afternoon, but would hope to be returning same day if its possible. Might even be useful to have a spare pair of hands! I'll keep you posted
