Spam, Junk and security of your PC

Looks like the low life's have found this forum too. So PLEASE, if you value the forum and the security of your PC, please do not follow the links in the bogus posts. They are pretty obvious so you all know which ones. :rolleyes:

There are a few of us who can delete them so give us a chance to get to them without you giving away that this is a live site or ruining your PC with all sorts of rubbish that you will almost certainly get dropped into your machine and have great difficulty getting rid of.....

I know of at least one forum member who went to look at at one of these and got something he couldn't get rid of.... :eek:

Seriously. If there is one thing that will kill the forum this is it, so its up to you out there........especially the half dozen or so that view any posts relating to free porn within minutes of it being posted !

Talking of security and your PC, I notice that a lot of you have your birthdate on your profile page. If you click on the "who's online" link, you'll always see a number of non-members viewing user profiles.
Why do they do that? :confused:
What info do banks etc. use as security checks for accounts? :eek:

Once again we have morons posting on the site and we are getting rid of them, but PLEASE PLEASE, don't be moron yourself and click on any links in these posts.
Someoine is.... because there are a fair few views of some of the posts and then we suddenly get loads more rubbish posted on our site because they are alerted ours is live when some daft sod clicks on one of their links.

Just give us a chance to remove it and it will be ok. You don't even have to look at the post. They are all pretty obvious.
