I know where there's a whole Series 2 Fulvia coupe for sale complete with side indicators for £150 or open to bids. It's two miles from where I live.
No, it isn't a 1.6 HF, it's a 1.3.

Chris,
A little difficult from here (australia) to buy the whole car or drop around and make an offer, but I would be interested in the side indicators if the owner was willing to sell them separately.
I don't want to put you out , but is there any easy way of finding out and then organising purchase through you if you were willing (and able)?
Don't want it to be difficult though.
cheers

Are replica ones any good?
I got a pair from Omicron, I think I paid about £20 each.
Not fantastic plating on the metal parts but I'm sure it would be better than (refurbishing) 30 year old ones?
Close enough for me !!
cheers

Hi Rob, back end of the 70's Lancia was sold to Fiat for 1 Lire, I have heard a story that every Fulvia sold lost them money!
They overengineered these cars plus most of the ones that went before it as well. I guess thats what happens when designers and engineers run the company instead of the bean counters - but then look what's happening to Fiat now the bean counters are in charge. Guess you need a mixture of the two!
Anyway, if you want to see the state of "30 year old plating" I have a damaged Fulvia side repeater I'd be only too happy to send you. the unseen baseplate is showing a little corrosion and one of the studs is broken, the lense is also smashed at the front but the surround is as good as the day it left the factory! Well, thats polished stainless steel for you.
Omicrons replacement ones are very good but if you can find an original it will probably be cheaper but hard to remove. If the wing it's attached to is corroded beyond repair I'd cut the section around the light out and work on it at home. I don't recommend trying to undo the litttle nuts. Cut them off or use a nut splitted then you can run a die down the thread of the stud to clean it up.
Another useful tip, if you have e European spec Beta for a donor at any time save the side repeaters from that in the same way. The bolt hole and light positions are identical to the Fulvia ones so you can wait for the right ones to turn up.
Cheers

The Fulvia I mentioned, isn't breaking for spares. You'd probably get it for £100.
Guy is right with the cutting round the outside removal method. Although if you tapped on the front wing of the car in question hard enough it would just fall off.
Yes, it would be easier to buy new ones.

And no offence aimed at you or Omicron! Just pointing out that the originals are usually cheaper IF you can find them! Sorry if I caused any!

I'd be a little upset if the surround was showing signs of corrosion - its stainless steel;)
Maybe that's the difference between the originals and the reproductions?
Andrew.

Guy,
Is that one still available?? I'd like it if it is please. (Ideally, I'd like a pair of the stainless surrounds).
Thank you!
Chris
