Ok Brent! I'll be the one in the red coat carrying a rolled up copy of the previous days Times............. Or just find me next to PFY3T!

If anyone else has any parts requests let me know. The club still has one set of Beta parts (no glovebox lock though) and I have one set of foglamps plus a set of instruments available, possibly two.

Hamish, please drop me a line with you address and I'll arrange to get a couple of key blanks to you. One will definately fit, the other may need to have the end removed to lenghten it a touch but it's better than nothing. Do you know if Chris at Betacar can cut them from a lock number? If so, it's usually found on the plastic latch part of the lock.

Hi Chris, I have a pair of new lamp bodies currently fitted with either new fog lamp assemblies at £85 OR new spot lamp assembles at £95 plus postage (of collect at Abingdon). The Stratos used foglamps in the recesses in the nose of the car but you may find that spotlamps are more practical. Both types of lenses look similar, the foglights have heavier vertical lines.

Guy,

Thankfully, I was already sitting down when I saw the price :D

Could I have the Fogs please?? Abingdon collection will be fine by me - I'll pop a cheque in the post. £85 correct?

Cheers

Thanks Chris, the cheque arrived Saturday.
I have also received the copy of the newsletters CD and had a chance to view it today, what a great job! I'm sure that all the future members will appreciate it as much as current members. The nxt job is to discuss it at the AGM I suppose! Guess we'll have to have a one off joining fee now that gives everyone all the back issues!
You did mention a bouquet for the young lady at work who got delegated with the task? Please let me know how much it was and I will happily send you a cheque with the thanks of the club.
Regards
Guy

Guy,

Glad the money arrived - one can get a bad reputation with 'it's in the post' remarks if it isn't (in the post) :)

So the CD is OK then - good. I'll duplicate a bunch ready for Abingdon. Since CD-R blanks are so cheap these days, unit cost is no more than 30p so it shouldn't occupy too much of our time discussing the costs at least.

Re the bouquet, I was waiting until we were sure we had finished before I sent it, otherwise Sue might think it was bribery rather than a 'thank you'... I'll get one organised and let you know.
