Abingdon Sprint and Rally Regs

Abingdon Sprint and Rally entry forms are now available.

Anyone who needs a set should contact me ASAP.

These need to be filled in and returned to the organisers as soon as possible, as entries fill up extremely rapidly and we had some people who missed their entries last year by delaying in sending them off.

If you're entering better get your entry sent quickly.

They have received over 100 entries for the Sprint already, and there are only 150 places.

Fax your entries to the organisers asap with credit card details - this will guarantee your entry. You can then send the completed entry form with a cheque if you wnat to avoid the credit card fee.

You should have had them by now.

They'll be online sometime this weekend, but in the meantime, I've emailed you the entry form. Fax it to 01252 657959 with your credit card details, and that way it will have the date and time of receipt on the fax.

The David Sutton Gp4 Alitalia Stratos is confirmed.

I have to ring Bjorn Waldergaard this evening. He has been invited to attend a celebration at the Acropolis Rally the same weekend. When I last spoke to him this was not 100% confirmed, so he asked me to contact him again this week and he could then give me an answer. If he is not going to be available, then I shall atempt to get another "Name".

At present, the only originals expected are the Alitalia car, plus a stradale car from Christian Hrabalek. But, I'm still working on this side of things.

I hope to have demonstration runs by the Alitalia car on both days.

I also hope to have a parade of ALL the Stratos around the Sprint course on the Saturday, and around the Rally Stage on the Sunday.

I`m afraid that my entry for the sprint is now under some doubt, although I`ve put in an entry, a recent engine bay fire has caused quite serious damage to my car and it will need a fair wind and a few peoples cooperation to get everything repaired on time.

Also I need a pair of the short spline half-shafts from a Beta if anybody can source some.

Unfortunately, all this damage is due to work done to my car by somebody else, so don`t ask too many questions because I`m still a tad sore about it all at the moment
