Which fuel gauge sender do i need to fit the Hawk tank & work with the veglia gauge....

VDO dip tube sender.

Yes,I have seen their list but which size should I go for or is it possible to shorten them too fit..

Hawk supplied item is 450/460 mm long. You will need some resistance wire to mod the unit. If you can't find the spec, try PM to Colin Artus.

F,R & Co's part number is 224 011 000 045.

There is a previous thread on how to do the modification.

I had to repair my VDO sender about 3-4 months ago, I too have some resistance wire spare if you need some.

Its a little bit fiddly but I had mine sorted in about 20 mins. Works a treat now other than the fuel level goes down quite quickly... although that may be something to do with my right foot!

Couldnt find the thread on the modification for the sender.
Thanks for the offer Matt,will take you up on the offer once i find out how to fix it. Can someone point me in the right direction..
