In today's post was the quarterly Longton & District CFar Club newsletter along with a flyer for a new book by Phil Short (David Llewelyn's co-driver amongst others) and Steve Wilkinson all about hill climbing & sprinting, well so what you may be thinking but on the cover of said new book is a shiny red Stratos JTF997W, anyone on here? I was hoping to do another sprint at 3 Sisters (Wigan) a year or so ago, but had to work instead, but there was a Stratos on the entry form.

not really one for red cars but I have to say Steve's car looks very nice indeed!

Steve has done a really cracking job of a re-build on what was, frankly, a bit of a mess when he got it. Not satisfied, however, the car is at the moment undergoing another rebuild and will be seen out and about in the not too distant future (we hope) with an MG V6 installed c/w sequential box!
I'm not surprised it was considered front cover material for a book.

No, sorry Phil. I guess we will have to wait for Lawrence to come back to us on that.
