Got my boot hinges fitted as the lower ones on the opicture but looking at the manual shouldnt they be fitted like the upper one?

Also looking for a locking clip to fit the glove box lock. Got one from a Beta but its to big. Does anyone know a source?

Thanks,

looks like the lower hinge has been assembled incorrectly. Pull the pin and offer the parts up the same as the top one.

John's right Pim, I had the same issue  The manual is correct, pull the pin to correct the hinge.... Took me ALL day to finally fit the hinges / boot!!

Well I think that the top hinge is assembled correctly. The vertical one fits through a slot cut in the gutter section and is bolted to the gelcoat face on the engine side of the rear body panel. I had to extend the slot on mine to make it all fit and open without fouling. Don't forget that the bootlid isn't fitted flush with the top of the rear deck but sits recessed lower at the depth of the groove around the deck.
