I hope somebody out there can help me out. I need some good close up photos of the Pirelli liveried cars.

This is going to lead to some exciting news very soon for all you Stratos fans out there. I can`t say any more at the moment, if I did, I`d have to kill you.

Well, now you've got us all on tenterhooks, can you at least let us know how soon that is likely to be? Days/weeks/months?

If you can get contact details for Denis Jones, he is bound to have the sort of pictures you would want - as his (Dino-engined) replica is painted in that particular livery.

Would photos of his car be any good, or do you only want pictures of the original rally car(s)?

Hi Jerry

I have a Kyosho 1:18 scale model which you could photograph apparently if you use a digital camera the images are very good

One of the variations on the huge scale Nichimo models was the Pirelli liveried car. Try ebay, they come up occaisionally but they are expensive. I'll be repainting my car in this scheme next time it needs it!

Thanks guys, I think the best idea is for me to get a 1/18 model so does anybody know where I can get one. The model shops I have phoned don`t have one and say there is a problem with the UK importer at the moment.

As for timescale, days rather than weeks (I`ve already done the weeks bit).

I`ll try to contact Denis aswell, as photos of his car would be fine, unless he`s already reading this of course.

On the subject of the Pirelli liveried cars, I'm still looking for the lamp pods that hold the two extra lights on the front of the car. Has anyone out there got anything? Damaged items could be repaired and moulded or spare originals copied and returned. When the time comes I want to fit the right parts as usual!

Thanks Dave, my postie has already delivered the car, undamaged aswell. Is there nothing you can`t get on this site?
Now, does anybody have a real Maclaren F1 they can send me? I`d give it back at Abingdon, honest.
