Looking for a 24V crank pulley and waterpump pulley (poly-v types). If you have them, some decent poly-v belt idler rollers as well. For mock-up so not vital they are in perfect condition.

Hopefully...
Had a call from the mate that's making the billet cam cover/blower mount for me...bit of a snafu when drilling the mounting holes apparently...so to save a £50 chunk of aluminium he broke out the TIG welder!

Chris
I've got the old PS and Aircon pumps off my engine if the pulleys are any use to you, but not the crank pulley, I'm using that one! I may have a smooth idler for the back of the belt somewhere too. Free to a good home :)

Thanks Rob. The idler would be handy but unfortunately the PS pump pulley & A/C comp I already have. I can nick the bits I need off the Corse, but it's a faff keep doing that while I mock up mountings etc for the blower. Far better if I can do a complete set of parts to play with if I can.

You could try Mike Buckler at Gatwick Alfa - he has probably a dozen engines in bits at any one time. He's not expensive in my experience.
Tel: 01293 871155 or 871166 Fax: 01293 432718
Ask for Mike or Dave Comber

Thanks Martin. I was hoping for something V cheap (me being me!), but I'll see what they want for these bits.

Hi again Chris!
I could lend thee the bits of me spare 24v. Would abingdon delivery be any good? assuming you will be going? :)

Hi John,
Most kind...but I've been and gone and bought some from Gatwick Alfa now. That'll teach me to be impatient.

Let us know how quickly you get them Chris.
I think Bernard holds the record of about 6 months for a gearbox.......

Sando is right...............
I could write a sermon (not a pleasant one at that) on Gatwick Alfa and Mike Buckler !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!............. only pay after you have the gearbox and DO NOT PAY UP FRONT !
buyer beware !

I've always found Mike honest - if a little disorganised!

Bu66er. I forgot about the gearbox fiasco........now I think of it, didn't Tim have trouble with them as well??
Oh well, it's only been a couple of days so far.

I got a wiring loom off them. Prompt, no problems. YMMV!

Bits I ordered have arrived, so I'm a satisfied customer. Definate case of YMMV then.

Good News Chris !!...........glad you got your stuff
I believe Mike Buckler still owes Dave Watson a LSD.... this is going back 3 years now !
Take em as you find em !

Good grief! I remember Dave ordering that......didn't know it never arrived though.
Take em as you find em indeed.....
I'm another small step closer to the blower installation now though ;)
I might swap waterpump pulleys - the one on the car at the moment is slightly eccentric and makes the belt squeak, maybe the one that just arrived will work better.....
