Hi,
I've just put the engine in for the very last time (I hope).. Installed the battery (I've left it in the rear) on the tray and position as supplied with the car when bought. All the cables supplied in the loom all fit... So far so good.
I then tried to fit the air manifold and to my horror the rubber hose that's installed just ahead of the throttle body fouls the battery by at least 2".
I can't find any other threads on this... I've seen a couple that state battery mounted in front of the fuel tank, but none that have left in the intended design position.
It looks like I will need to drop the battery circa 65mm to have any chance of clearing.
Has anyone else encountered this and got any advice??
Andrew
