Hey everyone!

I am John Lagerquist from the good ole USA. I was fortunate enough to meet many of the UK bunch at the Stratos weekend last year. It was awesome! I won't be able to attend this year due to a work commitment, maybe next year.

I don't have a Strat yet, but I have a Fiat X1/9 that I have modified quite a bit. I work as a Sr. Software Engineer for Magneti Marelli's USA racing department.

I am looking forward to chatting with everyone!

John,

Welcome to the forum. I hope you enjoy using it, and look forward to meeting you here frequently.

Small world,

I'm David May, automotive development engineer at Digitek spa., Italy and Corse I racer. Digitek does no commercial marketing but is responsible for various race-car systems, much of which are marketed by Magneti Marelli.

As is often the case, my car is mechanically competent (230hp 24V Alfa V6) but has lousy electrics waiting to be upgraded (the last thing I want to do at home after a hard day in the office!).

What was your interest in the Carson Corse story?

David,

As I am still saving up to buy my kit, I would like to have a choice in kits when I get there. I like the Corse chassis, but I have heard that the body panels are not as good as the Hawk. (maybe I am wrong on this?)

I was told at the Stratos weekend last year that Hennesey(sp?) was taking over production of the Corse and that new molds were being made. So I am just trying to find out the status of the kit.
